So uh, completely didn’t know Meteor was in this. Ya, ask me how happy I was. I should have known when I seen the METEORs lift off, but… ugh lol.

Also, going foward the ED that is in this is the one I’ll be using for v2 releases in the batch.

  1. Thank You! – Maybe its just me but for some reason, my media player “SMPlayer” plays the 10bit episodes, but at certain points it lags — Can you refer me to any other media player that could run the 10bit smoothly?

    • When they made the HD Remaster, they left out the 2 recap Episodes: Episodes 14 and 26 were both omitted. Some of Episode 14’s scenes were added to the new episode 14 of the HD remaster. Episode 26 is gone entirely.

      Due to this, when Sage started subbing, after episode 14 everything is 1 episode off. Their last episode, episode 24 is called “Land of Peace” when it should really be called War for Two.

      I took over after Episode 24. Since their episode 24 is actually Episode 25 if you pretend the original Episode 14 exists, then I start on Episode 26.

      The HD remaster has no Episode 26, so therefor I actually started on Episode 27, which is now Episode 25.

      That’s why all the episodes are now 2 episodes off.

      Trust me, it’s confusing. I’ll sometimes forget and put the wrong video to the subtitles and then go “Why are my subtitles not matching up… oh wait…”

      I -could- have skipped episode 26 and named all my episodes right… but since Sage started, and I consider this a continuation to their work, I kept up with the numbering scheme.

        Man, i was dying from having my episodes’ title messing up xD Now i can continue watching in peace~

  4. Hey shiniillumi,
    I recall you saying you were playing FFIV: A Realm Reborn beta – how do you like it? I just noticed it’s being released officially next week. I’ve been looking to get into another mmorpg (I’ve played EQ and WoW and enjoyed both for different reasons). I’ve never played the original FFIV (or FFXI) so I have no idea how the FF mmorpgs are.

    What do you like and dislike about it? And would you recommend it to another seasoned mmorpger?

      • I pretty much like everything about it at the moment.

        The only thing I dislike is it’s the typical Square Enix release where you need to worship Satan and punt babies for field goals to be able to log in to the servers.

      • I’m probably going to pick it up tomorrow. But I’ve been hearing nightmares about trying to log in during early access. I could understand in the early days of EQ and maybe WoW, but you’d think they would have figured out how to launch a game properly. Or did they severely underestimate the number of North American gamers who would want to play FFXIV:ARR?
